Now that Severson is in a 3-4 role, I like him much better. Let Santini get chewed up on the first pairing while the Devils await a guy who can play the hard minutes.

Not sure why Jimmy Hayes is on the 3rd line and Drew Stafford is on the 4th but no biggie; but this lineup is different with what's reported on NJ.com which has Noesen in on the 4th and Hayes scratched. Guess we'll find out tonight.

Whoever's going I hope it's an exciting game. Gotta like Hall-Hischier-Bratt!

If the Devils play with the same intensity tonight as they did verse the Bruins, I'd expect them to put up more than 2 goals.

It's amazing that Hall is the elder on that line by 7 years to Bratt and 8 to Hischier.

I know that Johanson won't play tonight and that he has been skating by himself recently, it is positive to see that he was on the ice with the team (via the devils instagram post)
